Grandma Netz and Grandpa Jesse came to visit me yesterday. Mommy and daddy usually forget to take pictures when people come to see me, but this one time they remembered.
The nurse told mommy and daddy that I get to wear clothes now. So they rushed off to the store to get me some.
And, mommy got me a Lion too. Roarrrrr!!!
Today I weighed in at 3 pounds 10.2 ounces. Up a whole pound since I was born!
Yesterday, the doctor ordered some more tests for me. He ordered a chest x-ray to check for fluid in my lungs and an echo (pic below) to check my heart murmer. The doc said I have a small PDA and he thinks it's one that will close up on it's own, but they are going to keep an eye on things. To help reduce the amount of fluid in my lungs, they are going to add formula to my milk. This will get me the extra calories I need without adding to the volume of fluids I am taking in.
I met a couple new people today. Aunt Karen and Uncle Dave came up to see me. My cousins Josh, Jake and Jess were also up there, but they wouldn't let them come back to see me. They actually won't allow anyone under 17 in the NICU, especially during RSV season. I know it will be awhile before I can meet them, but mommy and daddy said I will really like them. I can't wait! I also got to meet Kim, mommy's BFF. Everyone was really nice!
