Big Foot!

This is Daddy's view. He usually lets Mom do all the touching because it helps her to produce my food.

I saw Big Foot last night! He was really tall and kind of scared me when I first saw him. Daddy said he was my uncle Ritchie, but I still think it was Big Foot. I also got to see Grandma Sutten and both Grandma and Grandpa Buker. They all kept making comments about how the pictures make me look soo much bigger than I really am.

Yesterday, I pooped twice and the nurse told Mommy and Daddy that they were big ones. They had to use a glycerine suppository to get things flowing, but that's OK. Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me, but I'm not sure they believed the nurse that I really did poo. So this morning, I knew Mommy and Daddy were coming in, so I went poop again so Mommy would get the surprise when she changed my diaper. I have a feeling that this excitement about poo will wear off with time, but it's fun for now.

Yesterday they also upped my feeding. I started at 2cc when I was a day old, then went up to 4, then 8 and now I'm at 12cc every 3 hours. Mommy has been doing so well that they are starting to freeze the milk for me because I can't eat it as fast as she is making it.

I'm still having the brady's, even though they hooked me up with some caffeine. The nurse told Mommy and Daddy this morning that it takes some time for the caffeine to get in my system. Once it does, it should lessen them some but it won't remove them entirely until my systems fully develop. The nurse also said that since I am so little but off most of the respitory support, that brady's happen more frequently. The nurses are doing a really good job of keeping an eye on me and jump starting me (rubbing the head, tapping the feet, etc.) when I need it.
